REPAIR
A bent or cracked rim is a safety issue. We straighten bends and repair single cracks using a 3-stage process — the only correct way to restore a cracked rim.
RIM STRAIGHTENING
Starting from $125
Straightening a basic, light bend on the inner barrel costs $125 per rim for aluminum rims up to 19". Rims 20" and up cost more. Truing the rim by machining is an additional $75, if necessary or requested.
Heavy bends require machining and are $225+ depending on the work required.
The inner barrel is the inside of your rim just above the brake caliper — the number one location for pothole bends. We use hydraulic straightening equipment sized for the job.
We serve customers with rims up to 28" wide (24" for machining)/ 12" deep. Text photos or call for pricing on larger or more complex bends.
CRACK REPAIR
Starting from $225
Single cracks only — multiple cracks cannot be safely repaired.
Safe crack repair requires a three-stage process. Other shops hammer, angle-grind, and patch-weld only- not a true repair!
TIG Weld the Crack
Precision aluminum TIG welding closes the crack structurally.
Straighten & True the Rim
The rim is straightened on our hydraulic machine.
Machine the Inner Sealing Surfaces
The inner sealing surfaces are machined on our lathe to true the rim and ensure the tire seals correctly. This step is critical — and most shops don't do it.
6-Month Warranty
We guarantee crack repairs for 6 months when factory tires are used. Damage occuring after our repair is not covered under warranty.
FACE BENDS
Face bends (damage visible from the outside at the lug nuts) typically require cosmetic finishing after straightening. Text us a photo of the front of the rim so we can give you an accurate estimate on damage and restoration cost.
Safety Notice: Multiple Cracks Cannot Be Repaired
We only repair rims with a single crack. A rim with more than one crack has compromised structural integrity and is unsafe to mount a tire on. We'll give you an honest assessment — if the rim can't be safely repaired, we'll tell you and help you find a replacement.
Most rims can only be repaired 1-2 times due to metal removed during the repair process.
